D.PHARMACY
The profession of pharmacy is highly scientific and technical knowledge based and is strictly regulated by the pharmacy council of India,New Delhi, a statutory body. The main subjects taught in D.Pharmacy are pharmaceutics,Medicinal Chemistry,Pharmacology and Toxicology,Pharmacognosy and Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology.The curriculum covers different aspects of Pharmacy like Clinical tests manufacturing and dispensing of various dosage forms,quality control & various tests for purity and study of crude drugs.

After passing diploma in pharmacy,students can become self-employed by opening a chemist shop ,or can take up the job of medical representative in Pharmaceutical companies.D.Pharmacy students can also pursue higher studies.
