Under the diversification scheme of AICTE, An offshoot to Mechanical Engg., Production & Industrial Engineering branch was introduced. Production & Industrial Engineering is a non-conventional discipline in which special emphasis is laid on subjects related to manufacturing industry. During the three years course, students of this branch study the subject like Production Planning & Control, CNC Machines, Inspection & Quality Control , Tool design, Press Tool & Gauge Design, Industrial Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Technology etc. Students are also given practical training on various modern machines like CNC Turning & CNC Milling Machine etc.
